Throughout this internship, I worked alongside the frontend team to migrate APIs from a monolithic architecture to a microservices architecture. This involved utilising technologies like Redux, TypeScript, React.js, and others. Throughout the duration of this internship, I acquired both soft skills and problem-solving abilities.
I collaborated with Contlo's IMS Team to develop the IMS Web application, a proprietary internal platform designed for employee supervision. Leveraging Vue.js for the frontend and Ruby on Rails for the backend, we ensured seamless interaction and robust functionality. The system's database management relied on MySQL, while deployment and scalability were facilitated through AWS services. This comprehensive tech stack enabled the creation of a dynamic and efficient platform tailored to Contlo's internal needs.
I am collaborating with the Recommendations Serving Team to enhance recommendation systems across Flipkart, Grocery, and Shopsy feeds. This involves leveraging technologies such as Java, Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, and Elasticsearch to deliver personalized and efficient recommendations.
